Doctorul Sinteză is a DAWless live electronic music and live visuals group performing audio-visual (AV) shows. Doctorul Sinteză started in the mid to late 2000’s as a solo project open for sound experiments by Uțu Pascu, and recently became a duo when visual artist Cristian Văduva joined the band. Doctorul Sinteză describes their audio-visual shows as ”live sequenced and fried electronic sounds with sweet and sour visuals” and recently they have released a single Osmotic and their debut album Night Shift – a sonic trip exploring the halcyon encounters of the benighted times.

Alexandru “Uțu” Pascu is a bass extraordinaire, sound engineer and electronic music producer from Timișoara. Uțu was surrounded by music as a young boy, and in his early teens he took over his older brother’s bass guitar and started playing music with his close friends. Since then he has been actively involved in the independent bass, breaks, jazz and electronic music scene in Timișoara and Romania as a member of the following groups: Brigada Artistică Urbană (BAU), Blazzaj, Kumm, Iordache, Vlaicu Golcea & MIDI Overdose and more.

Cristian Văduva is a visual artist born and raised in Timișoara, and co-founder of PSIHODROM best known for his visual works for local hardcore heroes Implant pentru Refuz. Also a film editor and photographer, Cristian worked on many music videos for various bands, and for local cultural promoters.

K-lu is a DJ and producer present on the electronic music scene since 2005. His shows are based on genres like funk, hip-hop, electro and bass music combined with his own video mixes. Over the years he has been part of several projects and bands, has worked with various artists, has performed on the stage of the biggest festivals in the country, has performed at jazz festivals, on the stage of the Timișoara Philharmonic and abroad. He is currently active in the Ken Pith and Bongo P projects. With a unique style based on his scratch craft, K-lu easily stands out with his sets sprinkled with lines from Romanian classic movies that are both surprising and fun.
