Embodiment, No.23
2020
ink, coal, acrylic on canvas, 280x80 cm
Location: Garrison Command

The present moment of great crisis calls for new forms of embodied connection that can provide an entry point to consider how we can listen to the wisdom of our bodies, and the traces we have in us from previous generations.

The exteriority of the human being, their transient appearance in the world is, ultimately, the fragile sign of existence, of the continuous and societal conditioned inner changes, of being. The work Embodiment reveals traces of an ephemeral passing, metamorphosed into flexible material structures, visual (trans)lucid suggestions, placed at the boundary between the rational and irrational, material and immaterial, stability and instability, the visible and invisible as revelations of the human being subject to the vicissitudes of the times they are passing through.
