The exhibition, curated by Thomas Hirsch of Germany, is a collaboration with the Volker Diehl Gallery in Berlin, Germany and presents an artistic duo representing a remarkable moment in international avant-garde art of the 1970s. The works of the two artists, originally signed as a duo, were previously exhibited in Milan, Lausanne and Edinburgh. In 1970, the Jacobis represented Romania at the Venice Biennale with a set of objects made of natural materials. Even after moving to West Germany, their shared experiences continued. The exhibition represents a way of recovering Romanian artists whose artistic journey marks valuable moments in recent art history
